Tuesday April 27th Guided Birding Tour

Enjoy the beautiful bird life of South Padre Island on a nice and easy morning stroll on our boardwalk through stunning tidal wetlands along the Laguna Madre as well as a freshwater oasis with our Naturalists Educators as your guide. A great diversity of birds are seen on the wetlands during the Spring season, which include all of our favorite resident coastal specialties in their brightest breeding plumages such as Roseate Spoonbill, Reddish Egret, Clapper Rail, Tricolored Heron, Brown Pelican, and Black Skimmer! The SPI Birding & Nature Center is also an important pit stop to a plethora of migratory songbirds and shorebirds during the spectacle of spring bird migration! Start the day with the best of nature on South Padre Island! 

For your safety, the tours are limited to 10 participants and the use of masks are required through the tour. Sanitized binoculars are loaned during the tour. 

Birding Tours at this time are limitied to students above 13 years of age as well as adults and seniors. 

General Admission will be paid seperately upon arrival to the birding and nature center.
