Coastal Nature Camp 2024 Session 2

Discover Coastal Nature through our fun Coastal Nature Camp!

Campers will become wetland biologists and learn all about our unique coastal environment and wildlife by joining a four-day camp packed with fun outdoor activities! The camp will start by teaching the basics of wetland ecology and the significance of having a healthy environment for wildlife. Following that, we will assess the health of our wetlands through educational field activities such as water quality testing, conducting bird surveys, creating mammal plaster casts, fish identification, and more! By the end of the camp, your child will have a good understanding of the importance, functionality, and role of wetlands in ecosystems, as well as how wildlife utilizes them.

Each camp session is limited to 10 campers ages 8-12.

Most of the time will be spent outdoors, with some indoor instruction before and after activities.

Camp is from 9 am-1 pm each day. Campers can be dropped off 15 minutes prior to camp start time.  

Campers must bring their own lunch and reusable water bottles. Water and snacks will be provided. We will have a pizza lunch on the last day of camp.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: A cancellation notice must be received in writing at least 5 days prior to the camp start date for a 50% refund.
