About the Event
Pollinator Nature Camp!
Pollinators play a vital role in the survival of millions of plant and animal species! Campers will become biologists and will learn all about our local pollinators through this one day camp full of fun outdoor activities! We'll start by learning about what a pollinator is, the importance of pollinators in our wildlife, and conservation efforts for them, all while exploring the outdoors and provide instructions for hands-on activities. By the time camp is done your child will have an understanding of the intricate relationship between pollinators, and flowering plants. While also learning to love, respect and appreciate these magnificent creatures and their important role in the ecosystem!
Each camp session is limited to 10 campers between the ages of 9-12.
Most of the time will be spent outdoors, with some indoor instruction before and after activities.
Camp time will be from 9am-1pm . Campers can be dropped off 15 minutes prior to camp start time.
Lunch will not be provided, campers will need to bring a lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.Cold purified drinking water will be available.
Covid-19 precautions:
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, campers will have to wear masks while indoors and will be seated at appropriate distances from one another.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: A cancellation notice must be received in writing at least 5 days prior to camp start date for a 50% refund.
