About the Event
Enjoy the beautiful bird life of South Padre Island on a nice and easy morning stroll on our boardwalk through stunning tidal wetlands along the Laguna Madre as well as a freshwater oasis with our Naturalists Educators as your guide.
The summer season brings new life to the wetlands! In the late summer, colonial waterbirds are returning from nesting islands along with some young faces! There is also plenty of other nature thriving in the summer heat. Our five shaded bird blinds along our boardwalk will offer refuge from the sun and and a place to cool off with the sea breeze while you enjoy the wildlife and nature.
Tours are limited to 10 participants. Sanitized binoculars are loaned during the tour.
Birding Tours at this time are limitied to students above 13 years of age as well as adults and seniors.
General Admission will be paid seperately upon arrival to the birding and nature center.
Adults: $10
Students 13-18 yrs & Seniors 55+ : $8
