Spring Break Kids' Guided Birding Tour

Spring is right around the corner, and what better way to enjoy the break than the outdoors! Join our Naturalist Educator as he leads you on a nice and easy stroll through our breathtaking boardwalk. Appreciate the unique habitat of the South Padre Island Birding Nature Center, which takes you through tidal wetlands along the Laguna Madre and transitions to a freshwater oasis. The spring season brings an opportunity to see a great diversity and abundance of migratory birds traveling back north to their breeding grounds! Don’t miss out on the best time to be on South Padre Island!

For your safety, the tours are limited to 10 participants. Sanitized binoculars are loaned during the tour.

This Birding Tour is intended for children 7 to 12 years of age. Parents may check in and drop-off child at the beginning of the event or accompany the child through the tour. 

General Admission will be paid separately upon arrival to the Birding Nature Center.
