About the Event
Springtime on South Padre Island brings a diversity of birds through our gardens and wetlands! Let your children embark on a nice and easy afternoon stroll on our boardwalk. Get a glimpse of migratory species and coastal resident birds in their beautiful spring plumage as you walk through tidal wetlands along the Laguna Madre as well as a freshwater oasis with one of our knowledgeable Naturalists Educators. Don’t miss out on the best time to be on South Padre Island!
For your safety, the tours are limited to 10 participants. Sanitized binoculars are loaned during the tour.
This Birding Tour is intended for children 7 to 12 years of age. Parents may check-in and drop off the child at the beginning of the event or accompany the child through the tour.
General Admission will be paid separately upon arrival at the Birding Nature Center.
