About the Event
Spring migration through South Padre Island is spectacle of nature! Thousands of colorful migratory birds pass through SPI each year coming from southern wintering sites on their way to northern breeding grounds. The SPI Birding Nature Center & Alligator Sanctuary is at the center of the migration action! Learn all about the myriad of bird species that pass through, the mechanics of migration, and what you can do to help migratory birds through an indoor presentation followed by a tour of our boardwalk and gardens in search of migratory birds during a peak in the spring migration season! Join us for the perfect way to enjoy this special season on SPI!
This presentation is best suited for students above 13 years of age as well as adults and seniors.
General Admission will be paid seperately upon arrival to the birding and nature center.
Adults: $10
Students 13-18 yrs & Seniors 55+ : $8
