About the Event
Enjoy the beautiful bird life of South Padre Island on a nice and easy morning stroll on our boardwalk through stunning tidal wetlands along the Laguna Madre as well as a freshwater oasis with our Naturalists Educators as your guide. The late summer is a great time to visit! Get well aquainted with our resident breeding species as they wrap up the nesting season and their young start to learn the ropes of living life on the coast, and enjoy the leading line of migratory shorebirds as they begin to pass through.
For your safety, the tours are limited to 10 participants. Sanitized binoculars are loaned during the tour.
Birding Tours at this time are limitied to students above 13 years of age as well as adults and seniors.
General Admission will be paid seperately upon arrival to the birding and nature center.
Adults: $10
Students 13-18 yrs & Seniors 55+ : $8
