About the Event
Enjoy the beautiful bird life of South Padre Island on a nice and easy morning stroll on our boardwalk through stunning tidal wetlands along the Laguna Madre as well as a freshwater oasis with our Naturalists Educators as your guide.
Peak spring migration through our area occurs mid to late April. Birding on SPI during this time of year is a true spectacle of nature as a myriad of colorful migratory birds grace us with their presence in our wetlands and gardens as they stop and fuel up for the next leg of their migration! A special time of year for birding on SPI!
Tours are limited to 10 participants. Sanitized binoculars are loaned during the tour.
Birding Tours at this time are limited to students above 13 years of age as well as adults and seniors.
Ticket includes a $10 guided tour fee and a discounted $5 admission fee.
