About the Event
Enjoy the beautiful bird life of South Padre Island on a nice and easy morning stroll on our boardwalk through stunning tidal wetlands along the Laguna Madre as well as a freshwater oasis with our Naturalists Educators as your guide.
The early summer season is a great time to get well aquainted with our resident species and enjoy their summer courtship and breeding season. Welcome new life into our center as we enjoy nesting birds, ducklings, chicks, and parent birds raising the next brood of bird life on our center.
Tours are limited to 10 participants. Sanitized binoculars are loaned during the tour.
Birding Tours at this time are limited to students above 13 years of age as well as adults and seniors.
Ticket includes a $10 guided tour fee and a discounted $5 admission fee.
