Young Naturalist Club - Story Time on the Boardwalk

Come have story time with a wonderful children’s book just in time for spring migration! Environmental Educator, Remy Vargas, will read multiple book pages at each one of our shaded bird blinds and share knowledgeable facts about bird migration and the importance of native habitat as the group strolls down the boardwalk. This will be a fun and educational way for children and parents to enjoy literature and the outdoors at the same time. The reading for the event will be “Ava - A Year of Adventure in the Life of an American Avocet.”, by Mandy Kern.  This event will be held on Saturday April 2nd from 9:30 am-11:30am and is intended for children 8-15 years of age.

Register your child for $7 (covers admission). All children must be in the company of an adult.

Accompanying adults must pay general admission fees on arrival.
